Wildflower Picking & Picnic Adventure in the Souris River Valley!
Call to book: 306.461.4668
Escape the ordinary and discover the wild beauty of Southeast Saskatchewan on this unforgettable prairie adventure.
Meet me at the Old Stone Inn in Estevan, then hop into my comfy Honda Ridgeline as we head out on one of the most scenic drives in the province — winding along the breathtaking Souris River Valley. This hidden gem of Saskatchewan is where the land rolls, dips, and stretches into endless sky. The views are spectacular, the air is crisp, and the quiet is profound.Every trip is a little different, depending on the season and the whim of nature. The prairie wildflowers and native grasses shift weekly — one day it’s purple clover and goldenrod, the next it might be wild yarrow and feathery foxtail.
I’ll hand you a pair of scissors and a paper bag, and we’ll forage for the makings of your own wild prairie bouquet. It's part nature walk, part treasure hunt, and 100% magic.
We’ll climb grassy hills for jaw-dropping panoramic views, stop at a secluded river crossing to dip our feet in the icy, spring-fed Souris River, and explore an old swinging bridge that sways gently with the wind.
Wildlife sightings are common — deer, foxes, hawks, and maybe even a curious badger.

At just the right moment, I’ll unveil a delicious prairie picnic — thoughtfully crafted with fresh, local ingredients. Whether it’s a midday lunch in the grass or an evening spread under the prairie sky, it’ll be as beautiful as it is tasty. Think crusty breads, artisan meat & cheese, garden-fresh produce, homemade treats, and something cool to sip.

This is the real Saskatchewan.
On the drive back to Estevan, we’ll take a different route — one last chance to soak in the golden light on the hills, maybe spot a hawk gliding above the coulee, and feel the quiet awe this place inspires.

This is not just a tour — it’s a sensory escape, a love letter to the prairie, and a moment to slow down and reconnect with the land. Whether you’re a traveler looking for a unique local experience or a local yearning to see your backyard in a new light.
